Dr. Hasan is a doyen in the field of genetics. She holds DBT fellowship from CCMB. Dr. Hasan has over three decades of experience and her areas of interest include molecular pathology in cancer, neuro-degeneration, diabetes related complications and pharmaco-genomic based medicine. Prior to Kamineni Hospitals, she spent eight years at Wellington Medical School, New Zealand. She has over 100 international publications to her name. Her goal is to set up genetic units in oncology centres, pediatric hospitals, IVF clinics and community healthcare organisation, which are co-ordinated by genetic counsellors.
